Ignored Words Dialog

This dialog enables you to record any words you wish the spell checker to ignore. There may be words that are not in the spell checker referenced dictionary which may still be valid, for example company names and acronyms.

It is available by selecting Financial Period | Spelling | Ignored Words from the main menu.

In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:

A default selection of regularly used accounting acronyms and terms is provided.

To add further items to the list click Add, enter the item in the field provided and Save.

With a report open, items can also be added to the list automatically without the need to open this dialog. Misspelled items are shown in the Spelling Warnings section of the Warnings Tree pane , click on the item and Ignore to add the item to the list.

Highlight an item and Remove to delete the item from the list.
