Check In Data

Digita Accounts Production Advanced allows you to move data between databases, for example from a main server to a local database on a laptop, enabling you to work offline.

Check in data from a local database as follows:

1. Select File | Check in Data, to launch the Check In Data Wizard.
2. Click Next to continue.
3. Click the button to navigate to the data (.oap file) you wish to check in.
4. Select the required .oap file and click Open. Multiple .oap files can be selected and checked in if required.
5. Click Next.
6. For templates: Confirm the selection and click Next. Existing entities will automatically be overridden by the import.
7. For reporting entities: Select one of the following options for each entity checked out:
8. Click OK.
9. Icons adjacent to each entity indicate which option has been chosen:
   1. Create duplicate data
   2. Overwrite existing data
   3. Leave existing data

   Selecting the Leave existing data option means the entities remain checked out:

   

10. Click Next.
11. To close the wizard, click Finish.
