Database Maintenance

Occasionally database issues require the corrective action of our support team. The Database Maintenance tool enables you to sanitise your database and perform some of the key database maintenance procedures normally performed by the support team.

Sanitise the database as follows:

1. Select Tools | Database Maintenance from the menu.
2. Click Check database for known issues to establish if any further action is required. If issues are identified you can either select Yes to the message to fix the issues now and trigger a series of 'behind the scenes' scripts or, if you want to fix them later, select No and at a later stage click Fix known database issues to run the clean up scripts.
3. Click Close database maintenance when the maintenance process has completed.
