Edit Column Width Dialog

This dialog enables you to specify the width of a column in a table. It is accessed by right-clicking a column heading on the Edit Table dialog and selecting Edit Width or clicking the arrow in the column header and selecting the same option from the drop-down menu.

In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:

Width

Auto: Select this option for ONESOURCE Accounts Production to determine the width of the column automatically. Tables added to reports are always the page width. To maintain this width, at least one column must be set to auto.

Fit contents: Select this option to determine the width of the column from the cell's contents. This is particularly useful if the size of the content varies.

Fixed width: Select this option to specify the width of the column via the field provided.

Padding

Left: Select the check box, then specify the spacing to the left of the column.

Right: Select the check box, then specify the spacing to the right of the column.

Note that the padding is combined, so that one column with a right padding of '5mm' next to another column with a left padding of '5mm', results in a 10mm gap between the columns.
