Search Help

ONESOURCE online Help enables you to search for topics in a variety of ways.

1. Access the Search tab by clicking the Show navigation button and selecting the Search tab or clicking the Search toolbar button.
2. Enter your search phrase and click the Search button.

   You can use a variety of Search Syntax to define your search phrase.

3. Once a search has been performed you can select matching topics from the Select Topic list by clicking on the topic.
4. You can then view your resulting topics, as follows:
   • Highlighting: Selected items are displayed in the main pane with each occurrence of the search phrase highlighted. You can turn highlighting off by clicking the Remove search highlighting toolbar button.
   • Rank: Results are ranked by the number of matches within each topic (the number of times the search term is found within a topic).
   • Order: You can order results by clicking on the Title or Rank column headers.
   • Find: Once you have the required topic open, you can perform a search within that topic by pressing the CTRL-F keys or use the Quick search field in the toolbar.
