Templates can still be added and updated manually via Check in Data option if preferred but the Content Download Manager dialog offers a more efficient all round solution to updating your content.
In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:
- Select the content you wish to install
- The Description column indicates whether the content is Not installed, but licensed or if there is a New version available. You can view the changes for new versions by clicking on the New version available link.
- Use the tick box next to the template to select the individual items you wish to install.
- Alternatively, use the Selection button options:

- Add all items to install list, clicking ticks all the templates in the list and changes the Status to Selected for install.
- Clear install list, clicking deselects all the templates and changes the Status to Installable
- Add selected items to ignore list, clicking changes the Status of any selected items to Marked as ignored by user. This status can be reversed by re-selecting the template. If an item is added to the ignore list it will just be for the particular version shown, any future versions of the template will still be notified.
- Install: Click once you have decided which templates to include. Only items with a status of Selected for install will be added.
- Upgrade and Publish Template Entities: This is ticked by default and ensures that your templates are upgraded and published automatically when you click on Install.

If you just want to get the latest versions but don't yet want to upgrade and publish then un-tick this box. The new template can still be manually updated and published via the Template Manager dialog at a later stage.
