Version 14 - platform build 6.30 onwards

The updates within version 14 include:

  • Correct the officer description in all signatory sections as didn't display title "secretary".
  • Correct variables "ReportApproval" and BalanceSheetApproval as both didn't recognise the officers in the signatory sections after a finalisation date was entered on the Disclosure tab.
  • Update the display condition on note Related Party Transactions as note not always required for charities.
  • Update the following Accounting Policies to provide an option to disclose in the report that these don't apply in this period.

    • Key sources of estimation uncertainty
  • Various fixes to issues with existing disclosures in order to improve the customer experience.
Version 13 - platform build 6.30 onwards

The updates within version 13 include:

  • New wording variable for “other officer description” added to the Report Wording Variables dialog on the Summary tab and updated the reports to include this.
  • Amend the variable "Audited" within the reports to correct link to the charity audit status found within the Charity Status and Exemptions dialog on the Disclosure tab.
  • Update the Trustees Report to ensure officers with a cessation date appear in the report, provided that date is before the finalisation date.
  • Correct issues expression used in the "difference" column of the Net Assets by Fund Disclosure.
  • Various fixes to issues with existing disclosures in order to improve the customer experience.
Version 12 - platform build 6.30 onwards

The updates within version 12 include:

  • Updated the Independent Auditors Report to provide an option to select where the examiner body is registered (options listed below) with the accounting references in the report conditioned to reflect this.

  • Amend the options found within the Charity Status and Exemptions dialog on the Disclosure tab to include options to select the legislation applied in the report (Companies Act 2006 or Companies Act 2014) and audit exemptions that apply to Irish legislation. Reports updated so the Independent Auditors Report, Statement of Responsibilities and Accounting Polices are conditioned to refer to either legislation.

  • Improve the presentation of the Category Summary report, including edits to the page header to correct the incorrect prior period date being used, and page footer so these link to the settings on the Summary tab.
  • Correct issue within the note Allocated Support Costs where the row description doesn't appear.
  • Correct issue whereby an officers description (if entered) is duplicated in the Trustees Report.
  • Correct issues with data not flowing to the report from the Net Incoming/Outgoing Resources Disclosure.
  • Various fixes to issues with existing disclosures in order to improve the customer experience.
Version 11 - platform build 6.24 onwards

The updates within version 11 include:

  • Updated the Independent Auditors Report per the latest bulletin (August 2021), applicable to periods commencing on/after 1st February 2020 and correct the accounting references.
  • Updated the Independent Examiners Report per the example by the Charity Commission.
  • Disclosures added or wording amended to consider the impact of Covid-19 and/or Brexit in the following locations:
  • New wording variable for “chairman” added to the Report Wording Variables dialog on the Summary tab and updated the reports to include this.
  • New option for the presentation of signatories added to the Report Settings dialog on the Summary tab.
  • The 'change to landscape' and 'change to portrait' templates in the following locations have been made conditional to be used when a subsequent table can't be presented in portrait:
    • Income from donations and legacies
    • Income from charitable activities
    • Income from other trading activities
    • Investment income
    • Other income
    • Expenditure on raising funds
    • Expenditure on charitable activities
    • Other expenditure
    • Analysis of governance and support costs

Version 10 - platform build 6.24 onwards

The updates within version 10 include:

  • Update the Auditors Report per wording in the March 2020 bulletin.
  • All income and expenditure notes now include comparative values with various options how to present this data.
  • Move Rounding, Scaling and Presentation options to the Summary tab and now located in the Report Settings dialog.
  • Added option within the Report Settings dialog to edit the report page footer text and alignment.
  • Added option to the Summary tab named Report Table Settingsenabling you to edit the text and alignment of the table column headers.
  • Various bug fixes and behind the scenes enhancements.
Version 9 - platform build 6.24 onwards

The updates within version 9 include:

  • Updated for amendments to the SORP per Bulletin 2 for periods after 1 January 2019.
  • Audit Reports updated with amended wording in the Opinion section and the following new disclosures:
    • How the auditor evaluated managements assessment to continue as a going concern
    • The impact of uncertainties resulting from Brexit
    • Why the prior period may not have been audited
    • Other significant developments
  • Disclosure for Income from Charitable Activities updated to allow further rows to be created.
  • Updated the Analysis of Net Debt disclosure, adding the following columns:
    • Acquisition of subsidiaries
    • Disposal of subsidiaries
    • New finance leases
    • Changes in market value
  • New disclosure added for "further information on the acquisition of a material subsidiary".
  • Edited the warnings to take into account the rounding and scaling settings and correctly highlight any differences.
  • Various bug fixes.
Version 8 - platform build 6.15 onwards

  • Comparative data added to Disclosures per SORP Bulletin 2.
Version 6 and Version 7 - platform build 6.15 onwards
  • New sub categories have been created within Funds. For each new fund category, the following sub-fund categories have been added:
    • Brought forward
    • Incoming resources
    • Resources expended
    • Transfers
    • Other recognised gains/losses
      • These categories have been mapped to the Funds note.
  • Options have been added to the Presentation Disclosure dialog to amend the presentation of the Non-Statutory Pages:
    • For the Statement of Financial Activities per Fund you can now opt to present by: Current and prior period total columns only; or by Columns with current period analysis per fund.
    • For the Detailed Statement of Financial Activities you can now opt to present by: Current and prior period total columns only; by Columns with current period analysis per fund or by Columns with summarised fund analysis for both periods.
  • A new Accountant link had been added to the Summary tab enabling you to record Accountant's details.
  • The Charitable Activities and Fund Descriptions dialog now enables you to enter descriptions for Unrestricted funds, Restricted funds, Endowment funds and Other funds.
Version 5:
  • Platform build 6.15.7986 onwards
  • A Report Wording Variables dialog has been added to the Summary tab enabling you to amend the common words used throughout the report where you may prefer a different description, for example 'Turnover' as opposed to 'Revenue'.
  • A Key Facts dialog has been added to the Disclosures to give the readers of the financial statements a better understanding of the charities performance and position.
