There are two sub-options available within Tools, Advanced:

By default files are compressed. Compresses files have the benefit that they take up less space. To uncompress a file, select Tools > Uncompress file and when prompted select the desired file.

The uncompressed file will be saved to the same folder as the original computation with the file extension .UNC.

There are certain circumstances where a file may become locked, e.g. if ABCcopy is used. In the event of needing to unlock a file, if the ABCcopy?d file is lost for example, then this option can be used to do this.
