Set Up Report User Access

Access to report editing is controlled via user rights assigned to the different types of users (Read-only, Standard, Super User, Administrator), as follows:

  1. Open the Manage User Security dialog via the Tools | Manage User Security menu.
  2. Use the Manage User Security dialog to control user access to reports.
  3. Click OK to close the dialog.
  4. You can then specify user settings via their assigned type, as follows:
    1. Open the Manage User Security Settings dialog via the Tools | Manage Users menu.
    2. Highlight the user for which you need to specify access.
    3. Click the Edit button to open the Edit User dialog.
    4. Specify the appropriate Type for this user in the Account settings frame.
    5. Click the OK button to close the dialog.
    6. Click the Close button to save the changes.
