Browse Help

ONESOURCE online Help enables you to work with Help topics in a variety of ways, depending on how much time you have to spend with the Help.

Jump to Topic

The quickest way to access a Help topic is direct from the application via a Context Jump.

• Click the Help button if one is available or press the F1 button.

Alternatively, if you do not know which dialog needs to be used for a particular task (and are unable to use the Context Jump feature), you can search the Help directly.

Scan Through Topics

The following elements enable you to quickly jump through the Help topics and chapters. These are most useful if you are scanning for particular information.

• Header Navigation Bar
• History
• Help Pane

Read Through Topics

If you have more time to spend with the Help, the following elements enable you to read through from start to finish:

• Table of Contents

  If you prefer reading on paper, you can use the Table of Contents to Print some, or all of the topics.

• Header Navigation Bar: Browse Topic button enables you to step through the topics in order.
• Index tab: Enables you to browse a tailored list of topics for predefined subjects.
