Rounding Configuration Dialog

This dialog enables you to specify the scaling and rounding to display in your report. It is accessed via the Edit Working Papers Options dialog.

In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:

Rounding

Rounding enables you to specify how accurate your figures need to be. For example, you may only need to report figures to the nearest thousand, this is a rounding of '1,000'.

Rounding is always performed on the pre-scaled value to ensure accuracy of calculations.

Scaling

Scaling enables you to specify how many digits to display for your figures. For example, you may only want to display figures in thousands, this is a scaling of '1,000'. A figure of '114,698' can be rounded to '115,000' by specifying a rounding of '1,000', it can then be scaled to '115' by specifying a scaling of '1,000'.
