Manage Spell Checker

The spell checker dictionary can be changed as follows:

  1. From the main menu select Financial Period | Spelling | Select Dictionary.
  2. Click the ellipsis button to browse to the dictionary required.
  3. Additional dictionaries with a .dic extension can be added to the Dictionaries folder located on the application installation path if required. Once added you can use the ellipsis to browse to these alternatives.

  4. Click OK to close the dialog and apply the changes.

Manage the words ignored by the spell checker as follows:

  1. From the main menu select Financial Period | Spelling | Ignored Words.
  2. Click Add and type the item in the field provided to add the item to the list.
  3. The Ignored Words table can also be updated automatically with additional items by right-clicking on the item identified in the Spelling Warnings section of the Warnings Tree pane and clicking Ignore.

  4. Highlight an item and Remove to delete the item from the list.
  5. Close to save changes.
