Edit Warnings Template Dialog

This dialog enables you to create and manage warnings templates. It is accessed by selecting Financial Period | Configuration | Active Warnings.

In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:

The Warnings pane enables you view all warnings defined for the current template.
The toolbar icons enable you to perform the following:

Collapse All: Click to collapse the whole list.
Add: Select to add a new warning.
Delete: Select to delete the currently highlighted warning.
Move Up/Down: Use the Move Up/Down buttons to position an item in the structure. Items inherit the properties of those items above them in their branch. Items lower down the branch can add or alter properties as required.

Click the ellipsis button to define the following, via the Edit Expression dialog:
Precondition: A condition that determines if the warning is evaluated and not just displayed.
Enumerator: A variable against which the warning has to cycle through to find all list data elements.
Assertion expression: A trigger for the warning to display. The resolved value must be "false" for the warning to display.
Link: A link to a specified window or data item.
Enabled: Select the check box to enable the warning and all other warnings below it in the tree structure.
