About Periods
Periods are used in ONESOURCE Accounts Production to specify a particular set of transactions made in a particular time period. This enables you to specify the financial period you are currently working in. In addition to the usual financial periods, customisable periods can be specified for a particular working paper as follows:
- Financial Periods: Define periods that transactional data is recorded into. This includes full transactional cost unit and audit lock data.
- Comparative Periods: Define overview data brought forward from previous financial periods. This includes the ability to record prior period adjustments.
- Reporting Periods: Define periods separately to Financial and Comparative periods, for management purposes.
