User Tab
This tab enables you to specify options for the currently logged in user. It is accessed by selecting Tools | Options.
In addition to the on-screen advice, you should note the following:
- Recently used entity list: Specify number of entities to retain in the File | Recent menu. You can also select the Clear recently used entities list when application is closed.
- Automatically refresh financial period data: Select if you want the application to recalculate financial period data each time the user interface data changes.
- Automatically refresh report warnings: Select to automatically refresh the Warnings Pane.
- Enable report XBRL warnings: Ticked by default. Un-tick if warnings are not required when running a report to speed up the process.
- Enable Spell Checking: Ticked by default. Un-tick to disable report spell checker.
If the control is selected, recalculations can tie up significant resources resulting in speed issues for lower specification equipment.
